Andrew Neil Mattison
11/13/1980 - 6/22/09

On Monday June 22th 2009 the Mattison family, Ashley Spencer, and Raider Express lost a family member. Andrew Neil Mattison passed away suddenly on Monday night while playing Softball. Results of his death are still not known. Andy was a great loving father, the best friend anyone could ever ask for, and his loss will be felt by everyone that he has ever touched with his life forever. Andy has a six year son and an unborn son on the way.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to request that a donation be made to the Andy Mattison Family Donation Account.  This is a trust fund setup to benefit his two sons as well as his pregnant girlfriend.

We would like thank EVERYONE that helped and donated their time and money to the 1st Annual Andy “Big Strong” Mattison Memorial Tournament.  Because of all of your efforts we were able to raise over $5400 from the tournament alone.  Since Andy has passed (Monday June 22 2009) we have raised over $8000. 

Congratulations to the Tejanos (Men’s Division) from Denton and Bottoms Up (Co-ed Division) for winning their divisions.  The Tejanos are a team that Andy played with in Denton and Bottoms Up was comprised of friends and former teammates of Andy’s over the past 3 years. 

Andy you will always be a CHAMPION!!!! We love you!!!!
